Transience
Transience is an Australian Design Centre evolving, adapting & reacting with the community it engages. Temporary intervention is a planning strategy for cities as a means of urban regeneration. In times of volatile economic, political & environmental circumstances, the needs of people & cities are constantly evolving. Transience is based off an established theoretical framework that constitutes successful temporary intervention. Through establishing cultural sustainability, WBPS will be reinvigorated into a world class, universally accessible destination with abundant resources for innovation, creativity & idea generation. The past & future of Australian Design will be curated, challenged, created, continued & celebrated, both digitally & physically, as well as through community discussion & engagement. Visitors will be guided through a curated journey that will reawaken the past & question the future.
