identify; acknowledge is a civic centre that uses its site as a medium for action, facilitating the acknowledgement of identity through art and cinema. The given site, the White Bay Power Station, exists as a symbol of the removal of many Indigenous identities across Australia. So this proposal chooses to utilise the site and much of its existing architecture as a place that fosters the recogni-tion of individual and community identity.
