Immerse - A centre which identifies and develops the integrated unity of the mind and
body through sensorial engagement, fostering human reconnection.
With the gentrification of inner-city Sydney, access and engagement with the cultural community has become evidently lesser as cultural centres seem scarce and out of reach for communities outside of the CBD. This paired with ceaseless commercial manipulation and exploitation of technological involvement has inhibited our human relationships and celebration/connection to our sensorial thoughts and experiences.
Immerse intends to flip this current site (stagnancy), to create a space which evokes and invites patrons to experience, interact, connect and cultivate (fluidity).
