Resumption

The purpose of this project is to revitalise the cultural vibrancy of the White Bay Power station by transforming the abandoned industrial site into the centre of creativity and innovation. the history and legacy of the White Bay Power station has continuously influence through generations, as one of the only four power station inside Sydney, WBPS has been the economic and cultural centre for a long time. Half of community who lived around the station used to be the workers at the station, the idea of the resumption is to capture the memories or stories of the WBPS. Recycled materials such as rusty mesh net and scar- folding systems, chipped concrete stones are used as the motif as the old generation, by pushing the limitation of materials use in its brand new identity.
