White Bay Power Station will adopt a new brand of the ‘Station of the Arts’, and with it, a new and exuberant art scene. This re-purposing will transform it completely, to become a landmark for Syd-ney’s aspiring creatives to make and exhibit among their interdisciplinary counterparts.
Catering to the needs of creative individuals, from multimedia artists, painters, drawers, and film makers no matter their level of expertise. The site facilities include, digital and analogue making spaces, large scale exhibition spaces, rooftop cinema and eateries.
Open to the public once more, the gates of this once derelict site will fill the vacancy for a creative hub in Sydney’s inner west region, and as a beacon for the ‘cultural Sydney’ that is hoped for.
