Flair creates dialogue between people, place and identity in attempt to bring new life to an exist-ing building. Through intervention, FLAIR will be a place of expressing emotions, opinions and feel-ings through creative performances.
With close connection to land, the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Eora nation will have their culture preserved through collaborative storytelling means leading to reduced barriers of discrimi-nation and misunderstanding.
By addressing the challenges that the 21st century faces in regard to existing creative cultural infra-structure, this centre will highlight and showcase Sydney's culture, heritage and arts globally to en-courage and educate users about the historical significance of the White Bay Power Station, forming a performing arts civic centre.
