Water Temple

The WBPS redevelopment will have a dual function, as a new cultural mecca for the people of Rozelle and greater Sydney, housing community-based needs such as libraries, gallery and working studios. Whilst also operating as an independent Sydney harbour Estuary research facility equipped with laboratories, data collection points, specimen libraries and seminar rooms. Combining the two functions to create the water temple situated right on Sydney Harbour with the goal of educating the public about the importance of Estuary health, whilst also paying homage to and enjoying one of Sydneys best natural features.⠀
