Ma-tt-er Museum
In partnership with Ma-tt-er, White Bay Power Station is proposed to be adapted into their first flagship laboratory, interactive museum and education space.
The site would operate as a new cyclic, co-dependent and resilient ‘machine’, working to recover targeted community waste products and material through a reformation of the sites existing industralised processes with an intention to return the environment to a homeostatic-like state.
Internally, Ma-tt-er Museum aims to experiment, showcase and re-define our notion of waste through seasonal material showcases, intending to initiate both awareness and a realignment with our surrounding environment.
