THE UNSPOKEN

Fostering an awareness, appreciation, and understanding of gender inequality & unrealistic body expectation through the lense of fashion. The design symbolically shows objective treatments of the human body through playful metaphors. Looking through the issues of gender inequality and unrealistic body expectation that is put towards both men and women from the past and present.

The design intent is to redefine the social norm of human body form and gender inequality. It is directed towards the celebration of different body forms and the neutralisation of gender. These are then translated to various spatial experiences from a journey to the unknown, an overwhelming maze-like experience, a moment of reflection to a moment of celebration and hope for a better future
