‘Revolt’

‘Revolt’ is an open platform communal space which responds to the current zeitgeist of socio-political censorship with the aim to empower the individual in re-narrating local and international stories and experiences of oppression. At La Perouse Peninsula, the Brutalist interventions aim to reform the colonial structures which inherently represent an oppressive narrative. With an integrated 24-7 social stream throughout the space, visitors are lead to engage with censored content at the Un-Restricted underground library collections. Furthermore, dissidents can engage with local and international political artists and performers, as well as formulate key discussions about the current regressive nature of a surveillanced society in the Radical Round and create their own content in the community work stations. Resist. Re-surge. Revolt.
