“THE HUB”

La Perouse is a cultural and historical landmark with a diverse community that once felt a special connection to the site. This disconnection between people and place has created the need for a new community program, ‘THE HUB’, to reconnect the community with the La Perouse headland. The goal is to design a welcoming place where the La Perouse community come to connect, share, and learn. THE HUB’s vision is to create a sense of belonging and support in providing tools for a better future. Through the creation of learning and education spaces, museums and exhibition centres, the headland will become a cultural hub for the community and create a vibrant new location in Sydney.
