'Don't MINd US' is a response to the social unrest of the site where the wider contemporary issues of inhumanity, degeneration and decay of life become topics of debate which generate growth. Taking place 50 years in the future, the site serves as a projection of the past and present social and political climate that has irreversibly impacted the future of human inhabitance. 'Don't MINd US' is a haven of introspective reflection spaces which disrupt social and political agendas and empower its users to confront, discuss and actively respond to the world we live in through human values and experiences. Addition through subtraction is implemented to challenge the context of the existing buildings and revitalise the site with a vision of human-centric living, whilst the devastation of our inhumane past and present is exposed and retained.
