The new La Perouse Precinct 29 ½ acts as a composed retrospective and educational zone. Through the architectural narration, it aims to revive the lost history and stories of the land and also ask the audience to look into the future.
With the discussion of the idea of ‘time – past, now and future’, 29 ½ proposes a full program including a science museum (astronomy-focus), a community observatory and an art centre, and asks the users to review, reflect, experience and explore in their journey.
