The (Ta+Tho)·ught Precinct

Exploring the 'authenticity' of Aboriginal architecture and its relation to perceived identity, the (Ta+Tho)·ught Precinct is a historical / exhibition museum and local community centre for the people of Gooriwal (a.k.a. La Perouse).
The precinct is the physical exploration of the theoretical field of Aboriginal culture and identity in this 21st century post-colonial context. These notions are explored on a micro and macro scale through materiality, form and programming of space.
