SEA re_SORT

The project of resolve have its site located at the headland of La perouse. According to the research of local history and landscape, the solution was to re-programming the site by the theme of ‘sea re_sort’. The new functionality consists of a Marine Culture
Museum, an ocean recreation education and membership community centre and added public interiors.

As an easy cut-in point of the complex layered history and connect to the coastal landscape, the right wing cable museum will become a marine culture museum by introducing the deep sea ethos into the interior and. While the left wing will become studio and labs for marine conservation and recycle artistic creations. Start from the Museum as the deep sea metaphor, the added outdoor facilities will allure and activate the water’s edge. The seascape bridge will blur the boundary and giving a real touch, both the water and the view. Step by step, the Recreation Community Centre at the bare island is to finally give permission for deeper communication with the sea.

The site will be re-sorted to let people interact with the sea through every step.
