The Bare Island Fort and La Perouse Precinct will become an Aboriginal cultural center and learning hub consisting of a core program celebrating the Aboriginal culture and the connections made with indigenous and non-indigenous peoples, expressing the interaction between two different worlds. The precinct will be connected through the incorperation of Aboriginal flora, rituals, education and foods, expressing the positive response to the merge of Aboriginal and European culture within Australia. The site will aim to educate the youth of Sydney where past traditions and cultures are passed on and celebrated.
