LAPA is a visionary and socially relevant approach on the adaptive re-use brief of the La Perouse headland precinct project. LAPA is a multi-sensory, hyper experiential spatial narrative that houses community functions wrapped in a leisure land for locals and tourists alike.

In a contemporary society there is an overwhelming need for public institutions to stay pertinent within a community, this means identifying and adapting to the way people need and want to be educated and stimulated. LAPA brings new life to the perfunctory role of the civic precinct.

For too long art museums have defended the invisible scholarly boundaries set within their institutions, LAPA aims to break down the barrier between patron and art, creating an even playing field for the user to learn and adapt within a space, this is the 21st century, join us.
