‘THE INTERSECT’
‘THE INTERSECT’ celebrates the interdependent relationship between humans, also human and nature as a way to rediscover the Aboriginal culture. The convergence of the Indigenous and French community, locals and tourists, young and old, past and future are also cherished.
This project focuses on working as a response towards the issues of climate change and food waste in the Anthropocene era. La Perouse Headland & Bare Island will thus be turned into a prototype for future cities through the application of a closed-loop system to be self-sustaining, especially to minimise waste and generate renewable energy. The ‘observe and interact’ programs are offered to encourage human participation in achieving both social and environmental sustainability.
