For industrial
WBPS is an unique site with a rich cultural and industrial heritage. I hope that by retaining the existing materials and industrial equipment in the display part, after the safe reconstruction, the historical significance and industrial technology of WBPS can be preserved to the greatest extent.
For community
WBPS used to provide a large number of jobs for residents in Rozelle area, but now as an important geographic interaction location, it lacks natural and green relaxation places, and lacks regional libraries. Therefore, I hope to create a space where industry and nature are balanced.
For current social situation
due to Covid-19, people have become more dependent on communication and learning through the Internet, at the same time, there are few interaction between nature and people. Therefore, I hope to build a Green Immersive Education Centre through architectural design and increase natural scenery, so people can communicate and study face-to-face, rather than through the Internet and mobile phones.
