‘Earth to echo’ - proposes a reconceptualized understanding of a ‘high tech digital performing arts hub’ that cultivates sound transmission awareness through the impacts of climate change. Born in a community well unprepared for the unforeseen future of Sydney’s rapid growth in technological advancement, ‘earth to echo’ revolutionizes this new wave for sound performance production, in an environment bound to thrive in Sydney’s post covid economy.

Each key space centers its design around building public recognition on the future of soundscape ecology and the impacts of human generated noise on the ocean’s soundscape. Given the uncertainty regarding the severity of these impacts, ‘earth to echo’ therefore attempts to address the issues of human generated noise pollution, by implementing more sustainable and monitored solutions to new proposal. There is a push to understand more on how anthropogenic activities are worsening our climate and ‘earth to echo’ recognizes this.
