the future plan of the Sydney government, Sydney will develop into a multicultural and globalized city. The power station, once a famous building, has been abandoned for a long time. In view of the increasing number of people with different cultural back-grounds, the sense of belonging in the community is becoming more and more blurred, and the identity of the community is becoming more and more unclear.
In my work, I try to make the power station become a symbol of the local area again. In the process of visiting the building, people can understand and review the history of this building and the story that happened in it. People commemorate this abandoned building in a sacred way, and people can also use two different way here to see the future and past. The purpose is to make a close connection between history and the future.
