DESIGN PROPOSAL
With the development of the Internet, the way people communicate and get along has changed. From face-to-face contact and communication, it gradually transforms to complete the interaction of form and meaning through multimedia and the Internet. In the entire society, the distance between people is gradually estranged. The society that has been lacking in communication and interaction for a long time gradually loses the ability to empathize, and the history and culture of the country are gradually forgotten in the process.
The new historical landmark building is a large-scale civic and adaptive re-use site of the historical site WBPS. Its purpose is to redesign the historical building site into a multi-functional building complex, reconnecting residents and communities, and building A new type of public community center in the 21st century. The design increases the affinity of the city and promotes the dissemination of history and culture.
