Regenerate encompasses the power of art and performance as a therapeutic medium to allow healing and wellbeing. Art acts as therapy essentially being a healer of trauma. The redevelopment will preserve and embed the various memories and relations associated with the W.B.P.S and respond to the new emerging needs and behaviors of the community while preserving the identity and history of the site, while taking into consideration the traditional crafts practiced of Torres Strat Islander people therefore, developing rozelle arts and culture by creating a people focused creative placemaking through music and performance as a driving identity and connection to the white bay power station W.B.P.S) for future visitors, resident and workers. Introducing themes and stories associated with its history, culture, character and community. Essentially, rekindling the community interaction and engagement through arts and culture which offers a unique way to build stronger communities and better places.
