ARCHIVES
To promote community confidence and establish a new sense of identity for Rozelle, ‘the playful archives’, aims to explore creativity being the medium which we can socially connect and express ourselves.
Considering the lack of cultural identity that rozelle embraces, and that NSW houses the most prevalent sector of creative artists, the playful archives will provide for a cultural community hub that rozelle and Sydney can utilise. this will in effect will allow for rozelle to be well established in its culture and therefore local economy.
The project aims to achieve this through distinctive library facilities, theatre space, galleries, restaurants and bars. the cohesive collection of these proposed spaces will ensure a strong sense of social connections in which rozelle will prosper into a creative community.
