Today, we continue to live and work in pandemic-induced isolation where almost anything can be done online. And so it is significant to use architecture to produce serendipitous moments and help foster new connections – precisely those that rarely happen in the digital world.
Serendipity is a contemporary arts centre at the White bay power station that intends to produce surprise encounters and form new social connections to bring back the community in the physical place.
