AWAKEN THE BEAST

Awaken The Beast showcases a design proposal for the adaptive reuse of Rozelle White Bay Power Station, on unceded Wangal Country. Informed by the findings from earlier research & investigation phases, five physical spaces have been resolved: these spaces will be known as:

The Mouth, The Brain, The Belly, The Heart & The Lungs. 

The White Bay Power Station will come to life to reveal The Beast - An iconic sustainable maker-space, uncovering a strong sense of ownership in visitors through hands-on creative expression & whimsy.

The outcome from this project is rigorous, inventive, and professional design including research, concept, documentation, perspectives, process and more, collated into one architectural design book inspired by architects Elizabeth Diller + Ricardo Scofidio.
