The White Bay Power Station (WBPS) has been a unique heritage site to Sydney since the 1900s. This design proposal follows a process of research and a strategic vision in order to rejuvenate and awaken the site and its surrounding neighbours. What was a power station is now transformed into a new networking hub and wellness centre. Both designs, The Forum and H.I.T Club, are located in the Boiler house and Coal Handling Shed, they encourage networking , learning, individual wellness and fitness. Due to Covid-19 it has been noticed that there has been a change in human behaviours with factors such as bad mental and physical health. In order to overcome this issue the WBPS has been constructed in a innovative, technologically advanced, flexible and ergonomic design while ensuring sustainablility and inclusivity specific for the client. Furthermore, this process has ensured the maintenance of heritage and history through analysis of the conservation management plan.
